Which floor surfaces is this kit safe to use on?

The Furniture Stabilizer Kit is designed for use on common hard floor surfaces including hardwood, laminate, tile, and vinyl. The adjustable pads and anti-slip grips are mechanical — they grip through pressure and friction, not adhesive — making them suitable for finished and unfinished hard floors. We do not recommend use on carpet, as the grips rely on a firm, flat surface to function correctly.

Does the kit use any adhesive or glue?

No. The kit contains no adhesives, glues, or sticky compounds. It consists of adjustable pads, anti-slip grips, and mounting hardware only. Nothing in the kit is designed to bond permanently to your floor or furniture.

Will the pads leave residue, staining, or discoloration on my floors?

Because no adhesive is used, there is no glue residue to leave behind. The anti-slip grips are made to contact the floor surface under the weight of the furniture. As with any pad or foot, we recommend inspecting your floor finish periodically, especially on delicate or freshly refinished hardwood, to ensure the grip material is compatible with your specific finish.

How do I remove the kit without damaging my floor?

Simply lift the furniture and remove the pads and grips by hand — no tools, solvents, or scraping required. Because nothing is adhered to the floor, removal is clean and straightforward.

Are there load limits I should know about?

This kit is rated for standard residential furniture loads — everyday tables, chairs, cabinets, and shelves used in a home setting. It is not rated for structural, load-bearing, or commercial applications. Do not use it to stabilize shelving units holding very heavy loads (such as large appliance-weight items) or furniture in commercial or professional settings.

When should I not use this kit?
